Whoever was lucky enough to catch Ne-Yo Live on his Champagne and Roses tour, i’m banking we’ll carry those memories for a hot minute. The global superstar brought the house down in a fully packed Qudos Bank Arena when we went to get Closer to the action. Safe to say he did not dissapoint. Starting the concert by walking out in a mist of fog, draped in the aboriginal flag, it was an ode to our roots and his when he launched into the bangers of the past. Closer, Because of You, HIT AFTER HIT and the man was SINGING. It’s safe to say with the mix and old school and new hits, Ne-Yo is a certified icon of the RnB genre and continues to bless us with a live performance rivaling when he first made the big time.
