Red Bull 64 Bars was founded at Red Bull Studios Auckland inviting MCs to hit the booth and showcase their talent. The series launched with Brooklyn-based world-renowned rapper Talib Kweli and has since featured some of Australia’s brightest names in hip-hop, from Jesswar, B Wise, Dallas Woods, Baker Boy, Carmouflage Rose, to Genesis Owusu, Tasman Keith, Sophiya, Lisi, Nerve and more.
The first episode of Red Bull 64 Bars’ sixth season features Melbourne-based rapper, Mulalo. The MC commands our attention with her bars dedicated to self-confidence and self-determination. Mulalo’s unique stop-start flows confirm why her natural talent has propelled her to the top of the crop. From her first single, “Check” to the Nerve produced, “M31 (Racing Down The Hume)”, Mulalo has landed widespread industry support and a firm spot on our radar. Having garnered support from tastemakers and topping ‘Ones to Watch’ lists everywhere, Mulalo continues to build a career on and off stage.
