Red Bull 64 Bars was founded at Red Bull Studios Auckland inviting MCs to hit the booth and showcase their talent. The series launched with Brooklyn-based world-renowned rapper Talib Kweli and has since featured some of Australia’s brightest names in hip-hop, from Jesswar, B Wise, Dallas Woods, Baker Boy, Carmouflage Rose, to Genesis Owusu, Tasman Keith, Sophiya, Lisi, Nerve and more.
The first episode of Red Bull 64 Bars’ sixth season featured Melbourne-based rapper, Mulalo and the second episode features Dali Hart, a member of Sydney’s Korean-Australian rap crew, 1300.
The MC, known for his hyperactive on-stage energy, runs at hyperspeed through his bars, showing off his flawless yet gritty vocals. Dali Hart brings a biting flow to the five-piece collective, who together have amassed a ton of fans for their energetic mix of abrasive Soundcloud rap, grimy backing beats and feverish 90s breakbeat influences. From “No Caller ID” to “Oldboy”, 1300’s string of hard-hitting singles, and their recent debut album Foreign Language, have them firmly on our list of up and coming acts to watch.
